Application procedure
With the support of the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies actively exchanges staff for teaching and training purposes. To find out whether your University has a valid agreement with us, please consult your home Erasmus+ coordinator or check our website with partner institutions.
A faculty member of our partner university who is interested in coming to the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies for teaching within the Erasmus+ Programme and who needs assistance in making the contact should contact our Mobility Coordinator Ms Katarzyna Popek-Bernat (k.popek-bernat@uw.edu.pl). In your email, please indicate the area of your expertise. Your request will be forwarded to the staff member who will help you to agree the details of your mobility. Once the contact is established and the mobility is agreed on, the incoming faculty member’s home institution should officially nominate him/her as the beneficiary of the Erasmus+ program.
In case of staff training, the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies DOES NOT organise staff training weeks for representatives of its partner universities. ONLY individual staff training mobilities are possible. If interested, please contact our Mobility Coordinator.
Mandatory registration of international visitors
Please note that, as of 1 April 2025, the University of Warsaw operates the Registration of International Visitors system (Polish abbreviation: IRGZ).
IRGZ is an administrative database developed to record the presence of international visitors at the University and provide them with access to the systems and services available at the University of Warsaw.
All international visitors coming to the University of Warsaw, including participants in the Erasmus+ Programme, are required to register individually in the system before their arrival. Registration should be completed once the details of the visit have been agreed with the host unit.
